We are offering a new form of Winter Horse Show 

Just Imagine …Instead of waiting for hours and freezing we will give you a block of time to school with your coach in the ring, and then present to the judge three over fences trips and a flat class with a small group of horses.

All competitors will be required to pre-enter and times will be assigned.

At the end of the day… competitors and coaches are invited to join us for a light dinner and social time where you will be able to chat with the judge and review the judges sheets.

All trips will receive a numerical score which will be announced at the end of each round.

$ 100/ entry includes:

  • use of an indoor grooming stall
  • warm up/cool down and stay warm in new small arena
  • 15 minute group warm up in the main ring
  • 4 classes total
  • 2 hunter over fences and 1 equitation over fences
  • 1 flat class
  • coffee, tea or hot chocolate during the day
  • light dinner/party
  • judges sheets and comments

  • Flat Class will be judged on a combination of horses way of going and rider equitation.
  • Competitors with the same barn and trainer will be grouped together and fence heights adjusted to suit.
  • Jump crew assistance from trainers and spectators will be appreciated.
  • Schedule will be available two days prior to show

    PLEASE plan to arrive early.

    You will forfeit your warm up time if you are late!

   

Finally, please read the following waiver thoroughly.

I acknowledge that the “sport of horses” is a high risk sport and that I am participating at my own risk and in full knowledge that there is some element of risk than an accident could occur and result in injury or death to the rider or their mount. ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET WITH A FIXED HARNESS. JUNIOR RIDERS MUST WEAR ASTM APPROVED HELMETS. Old Orchard Farm and any people associated with Old Orchard Farm shall not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property or bodily injury of any kind.
